Alpine Alternatives is a non-profit organization dedicated to making outdoor recreational opportunities available to Alaskans who experience disabilities. Our programs have fun and learning to create an environment that encourages children and youth to develop skills, friendships and self confidence. Each year hundreds of children, youth and adults experience the outdoors through Alpine's adaptive recreational programs: skiing, camping, biking, hiking, boating, swimming and more. Alpine Alternatives depends on community support for its survival, both staffing by volunteers and private sector donations.
